Animal Reiki Course

Usui Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century. It was developed by Mikao Usui, who sought to create a holistic healing system that could promote physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. The word “Reiki” is derived from two Japanese words: “rei,” which means universal or spiritual, and “ki,” which means life force energy.

In Usui Reiki, practitioners channel this universal life force energy through their hands to promote healing and balance in the recipient. The energy flows through the practitioner and into the recipient, helping to clear blockages, restore balance, and promote relaxation and overall well-being. Reiki is typically administered through light touch or by holding the hands slightly above the recipient’s body.

Reiki is not associated with any specific religion or belief system, and it is often considered a complementary therapy that can be used alongside conventional medical treatments. Many experience deep relaxation, peace, and improved overall health after receiving Reiki treatments.

When it comes to animals, Reiki can also be beneficial. Animals, like humans, have energy fields and can experience physical, emotional, and behavioral imbalances. Reiki can help animals by:

  1. Promoting relaxation: Animals, just like humans, can experience stress and anxiety. Reiki treatments can help to promote relaxation and reduce stress levels in animals, leading to improved well-being.
  2. Accelerating healing: Reiki energy can stimulate the body’s natural healing processes, helping animals recover from injuries, surgeries, or illnesses more quickly.
  3. Alleviating pain: Reiki can help to reduce pain and discomfort in animals, whether it’s due to injury, illness, or age-related issues.
  4. Supporting emotional balance: Animals can experience emotional imbalances just like humans. Reiki treatments can help to promote emotional well-being and address behavioral issues in animals.
  5. Strengthening the bond: Providing Reiki to animals can deepen the bond between the animal and their owner, fostering a sense of trust and connection.
